Common Questions

How do I play?

Each card has four attributes: shape, count, color, and fill. Three cards form a valid trio when, for every attribute, the values are either all the same or all different across the three cards. Tap three cards to select them. If they form a trio, you score points. If not, the cards flash red.

What's the difference between the modes?

Practice — Get verdict feedback on every pick. Tertia tells you exactly which attribute is wrong and why. The fastest way to learn the rules.
Normal — The classic experience. Hints and Deal 3 are available when you need them.
Time Attack — Five-minute clock with no hints. Every match adds bonus seconds. Chain trios within five-second windows to climb a combo multiplier.
Daily Puzzle — The same deck for every player every day. Solve at your own pace and build a streak.

What if there's no trio on the board?

Sometimes the visible 12 cards happen to contain no valid trio. When that happens, an overlay appears prompting you to Deal 3. Tap it to add three more cards. The board can grow to 21 cards. At that size, a trio is mathematically guaranteed.

Why did my daily streak reset?

Daily streaks require completing a puzzle every calendar day. If you skip a day, the streak resets the next time you play. Your best-ever streak is preserved separately on the Stats tab.

Can I sync my stats across devices?

Not currently. Stats are stored locally on each device. Reinstalling the app or moving to a new device will start your history fresh.
